Elephante Dreams

Elephante dreams of being free! He has been confined to a cage all his life, wishing for the day he can step into the world without restrictions. Leap into Elephante's imagination as he discovers how to break free from self-limiting beliefs. 

Creating this comic book cover, I wanted to capture the feeling of dreams where the mind borders between real and nonsensical worlds. Dreams tend to be hazy, messy imitations of reality. Blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, there needed to be a balance of familiarity and randomness. Clouds, flowers, stars, and rain are all quite normal things that exist in the world. However, when you put all these elements together haphazardly, we start to veer away from understanding what is tangible and move towards abstract thinking. While some may fear the abstract and unknown, Elephante embraces this spontaneity and models how to let go.
